Every year the village opens with a kick-off keynote panel. For DEF CON 34 I have moderated it with Bryson Bort (SCYTHE, ICS Village), Sanne Maasakkers (Mandiant, Google) and Adam Pennington (MITRE ATT&CK).
We covered where the adversary landscape is heading, how threat intelligence and adversary emulation feed each other, and what the community needs to keep pace with real threat actors. After that the village took over the weekend with talks, workshops, tool demos and hands-on activities.
